2nd Symposium on Vibration Fatigue
Advances in theory, methods and applications for vibration fatigue, spectral methods and related topics.
Vibration fatigue, spectral methods and related topics
The symposium brings together researchers, engineers and practitioners working on vibration fatigue, random loading, frequency-domain methods and related experimental and computational approaches.
The event provides a forum for exchanging recent research results, discussing methodological advances and presenting applications related to the fatigue behaviour of materials and structures subjected to vibratory and random loading.
Particular attention will be devoted to spectral methods, experimental techniques, numerical modelling, structural dynamics and industrial case studies, encouraging discussion and collaboration between academic researchers and engineering professionals.
Scientific topics
The symposium will cover a broad range of topics related to vibration fatigue, spectral methods and their applications. Symposium topics include, but are not limited to:
- Vibration fatigue and spectral methods
- Structural integrity assessment with random and variable amplitude loadings
- Health monitoring and fault detection
- Fatigue Damage Spectrum (FDS)
- Shaker testing and control
- Mission synthesis and test tailoring
